Sat in row 30, seat 9. Only one side of the stadium has a 4th level so I felt really special (sarcasm). Row 30 was one of the last few rows available and I still paid through the roof for them. I intend to sit lower next time since the upper level seats are the only seats I can afford at Bears games. Is this the karma I get for buying so many $5 seats at US Cellular Field for Sox games?
In all honesty, the seats have a nice elevation above the row before it which is why the stairs were so steep. Cup holders were attached to the back of the row. If you sit anywhere past row 30 in the 400s, you should be strategic about when you leave your seats for a restroom break/beer run because you're bound to miss at least 10 minutes of the game on your absence.
The Bears organization really understands the fan "demand" at Bears games, they have it to a T. The tickets and parking are insanely priced, Polish sausages are almost $9, the beers are around $10. No part of coming to a Bears game is cheap. Don't even think about saving money because it won't happen. Soldier field is a clash of old and new since it's been re-done so many times. The only other venue that resembles it is Lambeau Field, the league's oldest stadium because the Packers have been adding onto theirs for a while too. Have followed the Bears on the road to Green Bay before and it was a fun trip. Do it if you ever get the opportunity.
