Have been to many Bears games ranging from preseason games in scorching hot August to Packers games in December with snow on the ground. I was here in 349 for the Lions game last month, row 7. Not until you sit in the upper endzones do you notice how weird the design of this stadium is. The seats are at least. They kind of angle upward. The view from 349 was less than spectacular because we were so far from the field and in the far upper corner. There was also no protection here from the upper level so if it rains or snows, you're on your own. The wind gusts coming off of the lake are downright mean, I don't care how many layers of clothes you have on.
Soldier Field is very accessible by CTA buses. Hop on a 146 and you're there; you can also ride the CTA light rail system to the Roosevelt and State stop. I would not recommend driving to the game but parking passes are available online if you're willing to spend the out of this world prices. There are ZERO cash lots in the stadium's neighborhood. If you have time to walk down by the lake past all of the museums, definitely take advantage. It's very peaceful and not to mention beautiful and is on the way to the stadium.

To give you an idea what the view of the field is like from section 349, here is a Youtube video shot from there before a Bears/Green Bay Packers game at Soldier Field.
