I really hate the idea of there being a giant stadium standing all to itself in Uptown Charlotte that is only utilized 8 days a year. Thank God the taxpayers didn't get the bill for it's construction. But I love this stadium, I really do, I just wish the Panthers fans would get behind the team the way they do Nascar or the Tar Heels.

228 is great, puts you high up enough for you to see the entire field fairly well yet still feel close to the game. It's not a club atmosphere either which is awesome because the typical person you'll find in the club seats isn't a real Panthers fan. If you get to the stadium before other people really fill the stadium, the club seats are the sideline seats colored grey. They stand out really well vs. the Carolina blue colored seats which I love.

We bought tickets for row 4 for the Chicago Bears game in 2010. I don't recall exactly what I paid for those seats but it was above face value but not by much. You can find some good bargains for Panthers games on Stubhub, I haven't had as much luck with the NFL ticket exchange; too many extra fees make the price of attending the game really add up.
