I say avoid these seats if you'll be sitting with someone that is a casual football fan like I was. Otherwise, they'll be miserable. Sitting down close to the field provides more sights and sounds for the casual fan so I think the top level definitely appeals to the seasoned Panthers fan.

553 sits above the west end zone, either is as good as the other though I think the west end zone faces the sun the most. I can't be for certain. We were at a serious disadvantage as the ball went towards the east end zone. We couldn't see a whole lot and you'll have to go by the fan reaction on the other side to know if the ball was caught or not.

There are only 22 rows in section 553; numbered 1 thru 22. We were in row 11, the exact middle of the row. I likely won't sit there again now that I have a fairly good idea where the ideal seats are at Bank of America Stadium after having attended two or three Panthers games. I sure wish the Panthers would liven up a little.
