My wife and I sat here on October 23rd, 2011 for the Washington Redskins game. I was a little disappointed but when you consider the costs of food, parking, gas, etc...these were the only seats we could afford. You can really only see half of the field well from section 524. Our line of sight was oriented more from the corner than the end zone. We were about 20 rows up which is just too high up for most fan's liking. The seats didn't have much leg space either. I had fun at the game but overall these seats sucked. And if the Panthers suffer a loss, the fans and atmosphere will be completely deflated.
We didn't get to take the stadium tour that weekend but it's very affordable to everyone at only $5 per person. I hear it's fun.
If you're looking to do some tailgating, Panthers fans do it up nicely. Lot 1 on Graham Street is one of the more popular surface lots - you can usually purchase parking passes online ahead of time to ensure a spot.

To give you an idea what the view of the field is like from section 524, here is a Youtube video shot from there during a Panthers/Baltimore Ravens game at Bank of America Stadium.
