To give you an idea what the view of the court is like from section 1, here are two Youtube videos shot from there during Jazz games at EnergySolutions Arena.

I've sat in section 1 a number of times for only Jazz games. I always remember this section because the visitor's bench is down to the right.
Seats are extremely comfortable and although they're in the end zone, none of the seats sit directly behind the glass of the backboard. Tickets are also not too expensive compared to the other areas on the lower level.
The delta Center is easily one of the loudest and most liveliest arenas in the NBA.
You will love this arena. Feels very small because the seats are packed so tight next to the court so you are close to the action no matter where you sit on the lower level.
You also can't beat the Delta center's accessibility. Plenty of parking at the Gateway Mall Garages or around City Creek Center. If you like taking the light rail, the TRAX is free when you get off in the downtown zone. Light rail will always save you $10-$15 and you can drink as many beers as you want and not have to worry.
