Had nice seats for a Jazz game against the Rockets (row 21). The steps leading down were at somewhat of a steep incline which I thought enhanced the view a good bit. The seats had nice space for fans and every seat had a drink holder. Also directly behind the sideline the Jazz players sit on which was the coolest part. The upper level seats are also quiet good and the cost of tickets up there is very affordable for all families.
Energy Solutions Arena is a very underrated venue in a very underrated city. There is lots to do in the downtown landscape including the Gateway Mall and the City Creek Center. If you park at the Gateway Mall Garage or the Triad Center garage, there should always be plenty of spaces available and they're really close to the arena. Also don't forget to check out the Karl Malone and John Stockton statues which are just outside of the main entrance.

To give you an idea what the view of the court is like from section 17, here is a Youtube video shot from there before a Utah Jazz game.

Whether you're in row 1 or row 29, 17 is one of the best seating options at EnergySolutions. I am a season ticket holder, have been for years in this section. 17 is right behind the bench with close proximity from nearly every seat, giving Jazz fans the ultimate NBA experience.

If there is one thing I could change about this venue, it would be the parking which is often a headache at venues around the country. I suggest parking at The Gateway but get there early. The parking is cheap and it's not a bad walk at all. The Trax system isn't a bad alternative either.
