My brother and I usually drive to DC once a year for a Nationals game, we try to plan it on the same weekend as a Redskins or Capitals game to kill two birds with one stone.
This particular game was a Mets game, a team we've seen more than once at Nationals Park.
The view was a good one. How bad can it be when you're sitting next to the press box? The best feature was the overhang which seems to shade this side of the upper deck quiet well. But one major con was the steps we had to climb to get to our seats in row L. I've seen worse but I guess the steep rows are only there to ensure that you can see over the row of fans in front of you.

You can easily reach this place from your downtown DC hotel; there are two metro stops near Nationals Park. The food is also really good; they've got Dippin Dots, Papa Johns, Hawaiian Ice and Italian Sausage stands scattered all throughout the ballpark. But if you actually want a sit down spot to eat, I recommend Red Porch in center field. It's priced around what the concessions are priced at and they have a patio area that is first come first serve where you can eat at and check out the field.

Enjoy your seats and enjoy the game! GO NATS!
