The upper deck at Rangers Ballpark has a nice layout, very easy to navigate and there are seats encircling the entire stadium. 318 had an extremely steep angle, not any steeper than what you'll find in Minute Maid Park or Chase Field in Phoenix. This is a big stadium so keep an open mind, not every seat is a great seat, don't care what everyone says. You will likely enjoy these seats since sitting in the infield is a pretty safe bet for a good view; right above the visitors dugout as well as the third baseman.

The atmosphere during the game was lively. The crowd always seems to be energetic for the Rangers, especially after the two World Series appearance. And the ball really flies off the bat here I would assume because of the humid summer weather. The choice of food is also enormous, there are foot long hot dogs and coneys all around. There is even a 3 pound pretzel I hear but don't know where to find it; ask around.

To give you an idea what the view of the field is like from section 318, here is a Youtube video shot from there during a Rangers game at Rangers Ballpark.
