I'm really not even a Mariners fan but I went anyway because my friends company gave him tickets to the Diamond Club as an incentive last year. What a nice work perk that must be! The Mariners were playing the Kansas City Royals, by the way.
It was nice sitting in our own private little section behind home plate without having a ton of steps to climb to get to our seats. These seats are different too, padded with more leg and elbow space. There were also waiters at our request who brought us our free food and drink so we didn't have to miss any of the action.
Not only was the food included in our ticket price but so was the game program with the scorecard, the parking and the alcohol. Well, you get everything included because these seats are $250+ per seat on any given night so you're essentially paying for it all up front.
But if you could imagine sitting behind home plate and being able to hear conversations at the plate amongst players, that is how close our seats were to the field. There were only 7 or 8 rows total so it's impossible to choose the 'wrong seat'.

You have absolutely zero reason to pass up the Diamond Club if you've got the disposable income to do so.

To give you an idea what the view of the field is like from Diamond Club 33, here is a Youtube video shot from there during a Mariners game at Safeco Field.
