Baseball fans across the country all have a different opinion on where the "best seats in the house" are. The average Mariners fan will tell you the Diamond Club seats behind home plate are but how many fans can actually afford to sit there? 226 in my mind, absolutely is where you want to sit. The tickets will range from anywhere between $60-$100 but what you get are wide seats with leather padding, your own personal waiter, no lines at the restrooms, a breath taking view of downtown Seattle, a perfect view of the jumbo tron in center field and a first class view overlooking the field.
Plus, the 200s are all small sections so they're perfect for families and parents that don't like sitting among the masses of fans that come to sporting events. The casual fan will love the club seats while the interested Mariners fan will probably prefer to sit on the lower level next to the field. I'm in between the two, I keep up with the Mariners but not as much as I would like to. Anyway, section 226 is great, I have small doubts that you will disagree. Now, if ownership would just field a competitive team, the package would be complete.
To give you an idea what the view of the field is like from section 226, here is a Youtube video shot from there during a Mariners/Tampa Bay Rays game at Safeco Field.
