Upon entering this section, you realize what a weird slant the rows have but it's designed that way to give fans a good line of sight towards the infield. Whoever constructed the seats clearly did their homework. Ever seen an A's game at Oakland Coliseum? It sucks.
221 is on the Toyota Terrace. Just a fancy name for club seats but you won't break the bank buying tickets for this section. Found three seats for $70 on Stubhub and printed them off. We were in row 11, one of the last few rows. If I had to guess, I would say there are about 12 seats in each row which isn't many. Made navigating in and out a simple process.

The fans in this area were dead weight and created zero crowd noise. This is one of the most laid back baseball atmospheres in sports. And being in California has nothing to do with it. Giants and Dodgers fans are absolutely crazy about their team. It will take a couple of World Series titles for San Diego to get serious about their Padres. Oddly enough, the entire city goes mad when the Chargers are playing on tv.
If you decide to sit here, check out Randy Jones BBQ on the toyota terrace level. The brisket sandwich was awesome although it was expensive.

To give you an idea what the view of the field is like from section 221, here is a Youtube video shot from there during a Padres game at Petco Park.
