Seat view from section 1 at Petco Park, home of the San Diego Padres

I sat here with a colleague for a Padres game vs. the New York Mets. Easily, the most comfortable seats at Petco Park (theater style) and was right behind the umpire at home plate. They called this area the "Lexus Home Plate Club". We had access to the club bar/lounge. We also had the option of having our own private locker for our belongings. (I would assume a lot of the people that sit here are people coming after work and they change clothes). Best part about these seats is the all inclusive food and beverage (alcohol is free as well). The food is ten times better than the All You Can Eat Seats in deep right field.
Sitting behind the protective netting was a little odd if you've seen as many Padres games from the regular seats as I have. A lot of businesses buy these seats up to entertain clients and partners so it's not your typical baseball environment. Unfortunately, that's what a lot of sports has come to these days.
But if you're a regular fan and want to sit here, you can find seats for sections 1-6 on Stubhub but will pay $200+ per ticket. Businesses usually buy these on a season ticket basis, no way a regular fan could swing that steep of a price.

Enjoy section 1! Best seats in the house!

Great seats behind home plate. Without a doubt the best section in the ballpark. Tiny section, only 5 rows. Perfect view of the whole ballpark. Very neat to see the game from the catcher's perspective. You won't miss any play in the infield. What you would expect sitting behind home plate.
