DO NOT get this section if you are looking to get an autograph, the Pirates have placed netting and it feels like prison. I understand safety, but sit further down the baseline for better interaction.

Section 11 is in the string of 'Dugout Boxes' that encircle the field. They're the closest seats to the field and if you're a fan of the team playing the Pirates, you will love these seats since they sit behind the visitor's dugout. The Pirates were playing the Padres when I sat here so I didn't encounter any Padres fans but when the Phillies come into town, section 11 would be a great place to sit!
Tickets are priced at right around $55 per ticket with a slight increase in price for the premium games. Sounds expensive but compared to what you'll find in other MLB ballparks, this is a steal.

I love coming to this ballpark and in fact, the only gripe you will hear about it is about the team that plays there. I love parking downtown on the South Shore and walking across the Roberto Clemente bridge with all of the other Pirates fans before the game. Primanti Bros, a Pittsburgh staple, is near home plate and their sandwiches are World Famous. You can also find Primanti Bros. locations throughout the city too if you're staying for a weekend. I think the original is on 18th in the Strip District.

To give you an idea what the view of the field is like from section 11, here are two Youtube videos shot from there during Pirates games at PNC Park.
