223 is definitely one of the more picturesque sections at PNC Park with the view it gives Pirate fans of the Allegheny River in the distance with the Pittsburgh skyline and the Roberto Clemente bridge. Of course, you can soak all of that up with the river walk before or after the game.

Every seat on the 200 level is a little wider than elsewhere in the stadium and also padded. The most comfortable seats there are, take my word for it.
'Pittsburgh Baseball Club' is the official name of these seats and it's impossible to sneak into the club seats because of the tight security. So no one will be sitting in your seats once you arrive.

223 also sits above the Pirates dugout and yes, you're still close enough to tell each player apart from the other. I couldn't afford these seats for every game but it was a nice experience. You won't regret sitting here.

To give you an idea what the view of the field is like from section 223, here is a Youtube video shot from there during a Pirates game at PNC Park.
