To give you an idea what the view of the field is like from section 217, here is a Youtube video shot from there during an A's/Texas Rangers game at O.co Coliseum.

217 is on the plaza level, directly behind home plate. You couldn't ask for a better view of the playing field or of the entire ballpark although it's kind of an eye sore compared to other major league ballparks. The net behind home plate is kind of annoying in your view but you will get used to it after a few innings. 217 is a great place to sit and I would sit here again if I had the opportunity; we purchased our tickets on Stubhub for $50 (two seats).

Hopefully the city can become convinced that a new ballpark is vital for this franchise to succeed and can get something in the works.
