Had these seats for my very first Yankees game in the new stadium back in 2010. I was about six rows up. The Yankees were playing the Toronto Blue Jays in one of their many divisional games. What's cool about 109 is that you can sit as close to the field as the Champions seats and only be two sections away from those. What are those fans paying for? Who cares about exclusivity? I just want to watch baseball. The right field side of the field is extremely short and you can tell when you sit here. This is a hot spot for foul balls too.

I wasn't the biggest fan of the old venue, but it had it's charms and tradition. I went into new Yankee Stadium expecting the things that made going to see the Bombers at old Yankee a great experience. They certainly did not disappoint. Monument Park is awesome and will give chills to the Yankee historians that still talk about the DiMaggio, Gehrig, Mantle days. There are some concession touches that will leave you puzzled like why does Yankee Stadium feel the need to serve sushi?

You can easily take the 4 Train or the B Train to the ballpark, just map it out from where you're coming from. A lot of fans even stay in the Meadowlands area in Jersey and drive and park in the city. Also not a bad idea, just know that parking is often $35 per car and if you know New York City parking, you know it's not always guaranteed to be there.

To give you an idea what the view of the field is like from section 109, here is a Youtube video shot from there during a Yankees/Seattle Mariners game at Yankee Stadium.
