Great game, even if the good guys lost. Section was conveniently located near bathrooms and concessions, a must for any travelers with kids (like me). Easy access to the level by elevators, too. I miss Shea in lots of ways, as Citi still doesn't feel like home, but it is a great park in its own way.

Great game, even though the good guys lost. Section was conveniently located, took elevator up with my wife and three kids and we're very close to our seats from there. Lots of easy access to bathrooms and concessions, a must with kids along. I miss Shea in lots of ways, as Citi still doesn't feel like home, but it certainly is a nice park.

Went to a Mets game against the Marlins last April (2012). Turned out to be the only game I was able to attend last season. Don't recall exactly which row I had but we were about ten rows up and above the Mets dugout. Not the best seats, obviously, but I couldn't complain with $25 seats in a practically brand new stadium. The deep outfields make the upper deck even more attractive for games. Even after the fences were moved in slightly, Citi Field is still very much a pitcher's ballpark and you want high up seats with that many pop ups. Outfielders really have to be on top of their game at this ballpark. If you want a seat that's a little closer to the field and similar in price as these, go for the Pepsi Porch in upper right-center field. The two scoreboards in center field are going to be your best friend if you sit in 506, otherwise we would have been completely out of the loop the whole time.

The nostalgic Mets Hall of Fame Museum is free to ticket holders and is on the first level of the ballpark near the main entrance. Get there early. The main entrance, also called the Jackie Robinson Rotunda, opens 2 1/2 hours before the rest of the park opens so you should have plenty of time.

Citi Field is a 100% upgrade over Shea Stadium; we'd really have something if the Mets were any good and had more star power besides David Wright.

To give you an idea what the view of the field is like from section 506, here is a Youtube video shot from there during a Mets game at Citi Field.
