I've only been to Citi Field twice and I can't imagine there are many seats that are better to sit in than 415. If you like small sections without a ton of fans seated around you, these seats are for you. Our row was nice and wide and easy to get out of and we also had fast and easy access to the restrooms and concessions. Restrooms were clean and the concession lines moved quickly; pretty much the opposite of Shea Stadium.
The only thing I didn't like was the excessive signage/advertisemen ts and corporate feel but stadiums and arenas are adopting that trend more and more. Too much revenue to be made I would guess.
But section 415 is directly behind the catcher's and the plate so it becomes a no brainer when choosing your seats. Just be prepared to open up your wallet a little bit if you want your seats to be here.
My time spent in 415 was for my first trip to Citi Field and I was wowed. I'm a Phillies fan too, that would love nothing more than to say this place is garbage and has bad food, expensive tickets to watch a crappy team but I can't let myself do that. The layout of the ballpark was open and inviting, especially in the Jackie Robinson Rotunda (the main entrance).
The atmosphere was great as the Phillies/Mets series always is. If you're a Mets fan that has never been to Citizens Bank Park to watch the Mets on the road, I encourage you all to do so. It's a trip you won't regret and many other Mets fans will make the same trip with you.
