308 is part of the Caesar's club area. Super nice place to sit with club access although you can't see the field when you're in the club area outside of your seats. We had a very private feel. Was nice to know no one could sneak down into our seats, the ushers and security are well staffed in this area and everyone in the Caesar's club is a club ticket holder.
Very small section and the seats were angled in a circular motion toward the feel, so the view was just what one would expect holding an expensive ticket. Our seats were roomy at the legs but not across. Hopefully you sit next to someone small so they don't crowd too much of your space.
Citi Field is often compared to the New Yankee Stadium and why wouldn't it be? Yankee Stadium definitely has more of a corporate feel and most of their hardcore Bleacher Creatures seem to be skipping games since 2009. It's a completely different atmosphere although Citi Field isn't quiet as rowdy as Shea either.

Another tip. I wouldn't suggest driving your car and parking at Citi Field but if you must, the best lots are Marina East, Stadium View and Southfield Commuter.

To give you an idea what the view of the field is like from section 308, here is a Youtube video shot from there during a Mets game at Citi Field.
