Section 246 doesn't offer the best seating in the building but good enough for 9 innings of baseball on a sunny afternoon. Only thing I didn't enjoy was how the scoreboard was above our heads, even when we turned around we couldn't see it.
The best part about Angel stadium in my opinion is that they allow you to bring in your own food from home. With how overpriced ballpark fare is these days, the fact that they allow this speaks volumes about Mr. Moreno and the organization. With practically nothing by way of dining and bars immediately outside of the ballpark's walls, bringing in your own food is also key for that reason.Tailgating is encouraged but you won't be allowed to drink alcohol in the parking lots which is the main idea behind tailgating in the first place.

The fans in our section were very knowledgeable and welcoming to the texas rangers fans that were in attendance. Had some great conversations with some of our neighbors in the row behind us. We were seated in row J which was one of the last few rows.
I would still probably sit in 246 again. You can't beat $10 field level tickets at a Major League Baseball game watching a competitive team.
GO ANGELS!!!
