The view of the playing field was super from 423 and the lower view seats (400s) are many times better than the upper view seats (500s). Instead of walking up to your seats like you do in the 500s, in the 400s, you walk down to your seats upon entering the entrance area. The seats are packed together really tightly so if you're an overweight Angels fan, these probably aren't the most ideal seats for you. Row B would be the most ideal row since there is a bit of railing in front of row A that I wasn't particularly fond of.
I wish there was more to look at beyond the outfield wall but the "California Spectacular" looks beautiful when you sit this high up. It's even more beautiful when you walk behind it in the centerfield concourse and you can see the waterfall and "A Shaped" rock display.
