Although we were a little removed from the field due to the Royals bullpen below us, I was happy with 105. It's part of the 'State Farm' area which means basically nothing, there are no special amenities to these seats. Our view was pretty much the same as the one we had when we sat in the 'Fountain Seats' in left center field for a previous Royals-Rays game. Don't get me wrong, the fountains are beautiful and add a nice touch to the stadium but you can see them and the game much better from behind home plate. Lucky for most fans, even the seats behind home plate can be had for $40-$60 for some weeknight games. I don't think Royals fans are aware of the bargains they get on tickets, just ask the Cardinals fans all over the state that go to Busch Stadium for games.
The retro Kauffman Stadium is definitely one of the nicest older ballparks in the league; built around the same time as Dodger Stadium in LA, it's much nicer and much smaller.
