Good seats. Not as good as the Crawford Box seats; my favorite place to sit at Minute Maid Park. I took the kids to an Astros game last season vs. the Cincinnati Reds and these are the seats we had. Don't recall the actual row but it was in the middle portion; I couldn't complain with $45 on tickets for three people.
Worst part was feeling out of the loop with the game, pitch count, inning, etc. You have to pay extra close attention to either jumbo tron to know what's going on when sitting not just in 427 but anywhere on the view deck. The Terrace deck is a much better option, a little pricier but those seats are the perfect distance away from the field. (3rd tier, above the club seats).

I come to Minute Maid Park twice a season for the stadium. When the Astros become competitive again, I'll come another 5-7 times. Not a bandwagon fan, I watch every game on tv but how I spend my money is my business.

To give you an idea what the view of the field is like from section 427, here is a Youtube video shot from there during an Astros game at Minute Maid Park.
