The first thing you will notice about these seats is how well they're angled toward the infield compared to the rest of the bottom level. The foul territory isn't too big down the first base side, so you'll be pretty close to the field in a sense. My dad bought a partial season ticket plan here for two seasons so I'm fairly familiar with it's layout to this day. There are upwards of 40 rows, so if you can snag seats in row 1 do it, but the closer to the field, the better in my opinion. The food is a little pricey but show me a ballpark that has cheap concessions. You can purchase a Little Caesar's large pizza for $18 which is cheap considering it can feed 3 people and leave them full for most of the game. We used to always try to get to Hockeytown Cafe or Nemo's before the game to eat so that we didn't have to spend money on food at Comerica besides maybe a beer (they have Labatt's). Greek Town also has a long string of restaurants to choose from and is within walking distance of Comerica Park or you can take the People Mover over there. Only .75 per person to ride.
To give you an idea what the view of the field is like from section 114, here is a Youtube video shot from row 21, seat 3, during a Tigers/New York Yankees game at Comerica Park.
