533 was a good section. Didn't love it, didn't hate it. When you sit along either base side, you're reminded of how far the seats actually sit from the field, in part because of the track that circles the ballpark. But I couldn't complain. Your seats here will stare directly at the scoreboard and the visitors dugout down below. The view of downtown Cleveland is also excellent from the first base side, especially the closer you sit to home plate.

The fan atmosphere was great. The fans are very respectful in this section, didn't see any excessive drunkenness, of course, that could vary from night to night but overall, it was a fun and safe family environment. The seats are the same push-down plastic seats the Browns stadium has. I wish they would add some red seats mixed with navy blue to give enhance the team's colors into the stadium vibe a little bit.

Progressive (I still call it The Jake) is a beautiful open aired stadium. Definitely the nicest sports venue in Cleveland; much better than Quicken and the Browns stadium. If you don't want to park at the gateway east garage, just find free off street parking or take the RTA downtown. Downtown Cleveland is very safe and well lit at night so you should never feel uncomfortable about making the trip downtown.

To give you an idea what the view of the field is like from section 533, here is a Youtube video shot from there during an Indians/Oakland A's game at Progressive Field.
