This section stays full for most games only because it's the center-most section behind home plate where all fans want and expect to sit. That should tell you something. The view of the field is a great and the view of the river from up there is almost just as good. I love all of the neat features at this ballpark like the river boat above batter's eye and the tall stacks in right center (home run feature).

The seats are all colored red which adds a nice touch of feeling to the place. The seats were spacious, both in leg and elbow room so I was comfortable. The fans were great but after a few innings, they seemed to be more interested in drinking and chatting. Beers are $8.50 if I remember correctly.

Perhaps what I appreciate the most was being able to bring food into the ballpark. You can bring non alcoholic beverages in as well as long as they haven't been opened. On a side note, if you like Yuengling Beer, you can find it at some of the United Dairy Farmer stands.

To give you an idea what the view of the field is like from section 523, here is a Youtube video shot from the very last row during a Reds game at Great American Ballpark.
