39 is about as far from home plate as it gets at this ballpark. There are more than 40 rows and it doesn't look like it could hold that many rows when you look at it on a map. At the foot of the section, there are very few seats in each row, so shoot for those. You can't see the warning track from anywhere in this section since section 40 sits down closest to the field and in front of this one.

I've been to more than 200 Red Sox games in my life; often sitting in the bleachers and I only sit here because I can see a higher amount of games without spending a ton of money but the Fenway experience still ends up being expensive no matter what or where you sit.

Don't even think about driving to the ballpark and parking. You will want to take the Green Line to Kenmore Station and then walk to the ballpark from there. Spending some time on Yawkey Way before the game is one of my favorite parts about gameday. The fan atmosphere is just electric.

To give you an idea what the view of the field is like from Bleacher 39, here is a Youtube video shot from there during a Red Sox game at Fenway Park.
