Where To Sit At The United Center

The United Center, home of the NHL’s Chicago Blackhawks and NBA’s Chicago Bulls, is one of the largest and busiest arenas in both the United States and professional sports. The venue is one of eleven arenas that is home to both an NHL team as well as an NBA team. Our staff wanted to take the time to breakdown the United Center seating chart in a way that will be helpful for fans to use when purchasing their tickets.

Tilman Fertitta, Home of the Houston Rockets

The Houston Rockets have been sold for an NBA record $2.2 billion to Texas billionaire Tilman Fertitta. Fertitta is the owner of Landry’s Inc., one of the largest restaurant corporations in the United States. Under the umbrella of Landry’s Inc. are restaurants such as Morton’s Steakhouse, McCormick and Schmick’s and Bubba Gum Shrimp Company. Fertitta is also the owner of Golden Nugget Casino and Hotels.

Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum, Home of the Los Angeles Rams

The Los Angeles Rams are ramping up the sale of personal seat licenses (PSLs) for their new stadium in Inglewood, California. The venue is expected to open in 2020 and will also be home to the NFL’s Los Angeles Chargers. There are rumors that the Rams organization will be selling personal seat licenses that range from $175,000 to $225,000 per ticket. That price would set the mark for the most expensive personal seat licenses in NFL history; a record that the Dallas Cowboys currently own with some personal seat licenses that cost $150,000.

Canadian Tire Centre, Home of the Ottawa Senators

The Ottawa Senators organization have added tarps to some of the uppermost seats of the Canadian Tire Centre which will reduce the arena’s capacity from 18,5000 seats to 17,000 seats.  The move comes one season after the Senators made a deep run into the Stanley Cup Playoffs but still struggled to sell out the arena during those games.

Staples Center Basketball Seating Chart - Los Angeles Lakers, Los Angeles Clippers

Where To Sit At The Staples Center

The Staples Center, located in the heart of Los Angeles, is one of the busiest arenas in North America and is the only arena to host three professional teams under the same roof; the Los Angeles Lakers (NBA), Los Angeles Clippers (NBA) and Los Angeles Kings (NHL). The Staples Center has been home to the three teams since 1999 when it first opened. With the Staples Center hosting so many events each year, we wanted to dissect the Staples Center seating chart to give fans a better idea about the sections and arena’s layout before purchasing tickets. We’ll start with the coveted courtside seats for basketball games.

Future Site of the Las Vegas Raiders Stadium

Both Las Vegas, Nevada and Los Angeles, California have NFL stadiums that are due to open at the beginning of the 2020 NFL season. The Los Angeles stadium was originally slated to open in 2019 and will be home to both the Los Angeles Rams and Los Angeles Chargers. However, the NFL, Los Angeles Rams owner Stan Kroenke and his ownership group delayed the stadium’s open date due to the site flooding earlier this year. Petco Park, Home of the San Diego Padres

With Ticketmaster (Live Nation Entertainment) holding a virtual monopoly on the primary ticket market in the United States, Reuters is now reporting that Amazon Inc. is considering entering the event and ticketing industry. Ticketmaster has received plenty of negative feedback over the years with it’s excessive fees that get tacked on to each purchase. Amazon has stated that those fees would be included in their ticket prices with no surprise fees upon checkout. Amazon has already shown traction in the ticketing industry for select events in Great Britain with their brand Amazon Tickets.

Standing Room Only area at the Golden 1 Center, Home of the Sacramento Kings

More than half way through the article, you finally catch on to what Hubbard is revealing.

Ybor City in Tampa Bay, Florida

Hillsborough County Commissioner Ken Hagan has all but confirmed the Channel District-Ybor City area as the future site of the Tampa Bay Rays’ home stadium. At the moment, the county is trying to acquire the land from multiple landowners which has been the largest obstacle. The next biggest obstacle is how the team will fund the stadium’s construction while not relying too heavily on the local taxpayers for the revenue.

The case will now be sent to an independent panel that will handle the matter privately.

View of the Playing Field from the Upper Level of Suntrust Park in Atlanta, Georgia

When we first heard that the Atlanta Braves were lobbying for a brand new stadium a few years back, we laughed. Turner Field wasn’t even 20 years old although it was widely considered a less than stellar ballpark compared to the rest of the league. This weekend our staff was excited to visit and review Suntrust Park, home of the Atlanta Braves, during the stadium’s inaugural season. The Braves were hosting the Cincinnati Reds.

That same city council is now pondering a vote that would shrink the plot of land that the Los Angeles Clippers would be able to build on after push back from area residents.
