Chesapeake Energy Arena, formerly known as the Ford Center, has been home to the Oklahoma City Thunder since 2008. Due to the high frequency of tornadoes in Oklahoma, the exterior of Chesapeake Energy Arena isn’t much to rave about. However, on the inside, you’ll find one of the most boisterous fan experiences in the NBA. When you factor in the venue’s prime location in Oklahoma City’s Bricktown neighborhood, you’ve got a recipe for an exciting experience in one of the NBA’s smallest markets. Our staff wanted to provide a thorough breakdown of the Chesapeake Energy Arena seating chart to help basketball fans decide where to sit before purchasing their Oklahoma City Thunder tickets.
Where To Sit At Chesapeake Energy Arena
Chesapeake Energy Arena is a very symmetrical venue. There are three core seating levels; the lower level, the Cox Club level (2nd level), and the upper level (also called Love’s Loud City). We’ll begin by discussing the lower level seats.
Lower Level

The lower level seats at Chesapeake Energy Arena consist of sections 101 through 120. The rows at Chesapeake Energy Arena are lettered in a very unorthodox manner. The rows for most lower level sections are lettered A through U. The four rows of “courtside seats” (see below) will make up the first few rows of the section. Behind the baskets, the rows begin with the floor seats, followed by double-lettered rows, followed by single-lettered rows.
The Oklahoma City Thunder use the bench in front of section 117. The visiting team uses the bench in front of section 114. The Oklahoma City Thunder player tunnel is located in front of sections 118 and 119. The visiting team’s tunnel is located in front of sections 112 and 113.
Courtside Seats
The courtside seats can be found in rows F1, F2, F3, and F4 of most lower level sections. The perks for the courtside seats at Chesapeake Energy Arena include the following.
- One VIP parking pass for every two guests
- In-seat waiter service
- Access to the Courtside Club which is equipped with a fireplace, flat-screen HD televisions, and three full-service bars
- Closest seats to the court
Cox Club Seats (Club Landings)

The Cox Club seats at Chesapeake Energy Arena consist of sections 201 through 230. The rows for most Cox Club level seats are lettered A through H.
Basketball fans with tickets for the Cox Club level seats will receive the following perks.

- Access to four distinct lounge areas on the Cox Club Level

The upper level is also called Love’s Loud City, and is where you’ll find the most affordable tickets for Oklahoma City Thunder home games.
Riverwind Casino Terrace Ledge Seats

The Riverwind Casino Terrace Ledge seats offer a gourmet dining experience with a view of the court, and are located in the following sections when looking at the Chesapeake Energy Arena seating chart.
- Sections 214, 215, 216, and 217
- Sections 201, 202, 229, 230
The perks for the Riverwind Casino Terrace Ledge seats include the following.

Executive Suites

There are 49 suites at Chesapeake Energy Arena; not including 6 party suites. The Executive Suites at Chesapeake Energy Arena can be leased for an entire season, part of the season, or for a single game. The perks for the Executive Suites at Chesapeake Energy Arena include the following.

- Access to the Cox Club Level
- Exclusive entrance located on the east side of Chesapeake Energy Arena
- Three VIP parking passes for guests
Terrace Suites
The Terrace Suites are available for lease for an entire season, partial season, or on a single game basis. The perks for the Terrace Suites at Chesapeake Energy Arena include the following.

- Access to a full service bar
