AT&T Park Seating Chart, San Francisco Giants.

Where To Sit At Oracle Park

Oracle Park, formerly AT&T Park, and Pacific Bell Park, is often regarded as one of the best and most beautiful ballparks in Major League Baseball, especially when compared to Oakland Coliseum (Oakland Athletics) across the Bay. Oracle Park provides an excellent view of McCovey Cove and the Pacific Ocean, Alcatraz Island in the distance and has close proximity to the popular Fisherman’s Wharf. Aside from the views of the Pacific Ocean, what really sets Oracle Park apart from other Major League ballparks is it’s plethora of premium seating options. That’s expected considering the vast corporate presence in the Bay Area and nearby Silicon Valley.

Our staff wanted to provide baseball fans with a breakdown of the Oracle Park seating chart so that they’ll have a better idea about which tickets to purchase as well as how to better navigate the stadium. Keep in mind that the layout and names of the seating areas at Oracle Park could change from season to season. Also keep in mind that the San Francisco Giants operate on a dynamic ticket pricing model meaning ticket prices will vary based on the day of the game and opponent. The hottest ticket will be when the Los Angeles Dodgers are playing at Oracle Park. We’ll begin with the Lexus Batter’s Box seats behind home plate.

Bleachers

View from the bleachers at AT&T Park during a San Francisco Giants game.

The bleacher sections are the best seats to catch home runs at Oracle Park. The bleacher seats, however, can be very uncomfortable for the average fan. The rows of seats have no backs to them and no cup holders. They also don’t provide a view of the beautiful Pacific Ocean beyond the outfield walls. However, they’re an excellent alternative for fans that want to sit close to the action without spending a ton of money on tickets. As stated earlier, the Blue Shield Field Club seats and the Lexus Batter’s Box seats are the most expensive sections on the lower level of Oracle Park.

View from the bleachers at AT&T Park. Home of the San Francisco Giants.

Compared to Candlestick Park, the bleacher sections aren't anywhere near as rowdy. The bleacher sections at Oracle Park are set at four different price points and they include

  • Premium Bleachers – The premium bleachers at Oracle Park include rows 1 through 5 of sections 136 through 142.
  • Regular Bleachers – The regular bleacher seats at Oracle Park include all rows above row 6 in sections 136 through 142.

  • Center Field Bleachers – Rows 6 and above of sections 143 and 144.

Like all other 29 Major League Baseball stadiums, Oracle Park has expanded the netting around the infield to provide more safety to fans during games. The netting is now located in front of sections 107 through 124. Two things you'll want to remember when visiting Oracle Park include 1) bringing a jacket, even during the summer and 2) try the garlic fries.

The San Francisco Giants use the dugout in front of sections 122 and 123 and use the bullpen in front of sections 127 and 128. The visiting team uses the dugout in front of sections 108 and 109 and use the bullpen in front of sections 103 and 104.

Also like many other Major League Baseball teams, the San Francisco Giants offer the ballpark pass to fans. The terms for the ballpark pass are as follows. The first 1,000 fans will be able to purchase standing room only tickets for all San Francisco Giants home games for $20 per month. Fans are required to download the MLB Ballpark app and their tickets will be delivered digitally to their smart phone. Opening Day and playoff games are excluded from the deal and fans cannot share tickets with other fans. The Arizona Diamondbacks and Pittsburgh Pirates were the first teams to experiment with the Ballpark Pass.

If you haven't visited Oracle Park yet, you're missing out. For all of you ballpark travelers out there, a trip to Oracle Park can often be planned in unison with a trip to Oakland Coliseum, home of the Oakland Athletics. Stay tuned for our staff's review of both Bay Area baseball stadiums.
