In 2018, the Cleveland Browns posted their best record in 11 seasons with a record of 7-8-1. After adding standout wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. and free agent running back Kareem Hunt to the roster this off season, Cleveland Browns ticket prices have doubled on ticket resale websites like StubHub, Vivid Seats, and SeatGeek. According to Vivid Seats, the median ticket price for a Cleveland Browns home game is $148 for the 2019 season. For the team’s opening home game vs. the Tennessee Titans, an upper level ticket will cost between $100 - $126 per ticket. How the Cleveland Browns are graded following this weekend’s 2019 NFL Draft could also impact ticket prices and fan expectations.

The Cleveland Browns will release a limited amount of single-game tickets this summer for the 2019 season; a sign that season ticket membership could be on the rise. The Cleveland Browns have raised the face value of their 2019 season ticket prices by an average of 7%. Nearly 70% of the upper level ticket prices at FirstEnergy Stadium will stay the same in 2019. The average Cleveland Browns ticket price during the 2018 NFL season was $66.34; the cheapest in the National Football League. The average ticket price for a premium seat at FirstEnergy Stadium in 2018 was $212.43; the sixth cheapest in the National Football League. The Cleveland Browns were also one of thirteen teams that did not raise ticket prices for the 2018 NFL season.

Of course, all of the Cleveland Browns’ momentum on the secondary ticket market could be completely thwarted with a poor start to the season. They are, after all, still the Cleveland Browns. The Cleveland Browns will face both of last season’s Super Bowl contenders when they face the New England Patriots at Gillette Stadium and host the Los Angeles Rams in Cleveland.
