PPG Paints Arena Seating Chart, Pittsburgh Penguins.

PPG Paints Arena had big shoes to fill when it replaced the old Civic Arena, also called Mellon Arena. However, the Pittsburgh Penguins have already nearly matched Civic Arena’s three Stanley Cups with two Stanley Cup titles in 2016 and 2017. As a result, watching the Pittsburgh Penguins live at PPG Paints Arena (formerly the Consol Energy Center) can become a very expensive endeavor for the average hockey fan. Our staff wanted to provide a thorough breakdown of the PPG Paints Arena seating chart to help hockey fans decide where to sit before purchasing their Pittsburgh Penguins tickets.

Where To Sit At PPG Paints Arena

PPG Paints Arena has many premium seating areas including the Lexus loge boxes, Captain Morgan Club, and KeyBank Club. We’ll begin by discussing the lower level seats at PPG Paints Arena.

Lower Level / FedEx Level

The lower level seats at PPG Paints Arena, also called the FedEx level seats, consist of sections 101 through 122. The rows for most lower level sections are lettered A through Y. A select few lower level sections do have double-lettered rows which will always come after the single-lettered rows. The lower level seats closest to mid-ice are club seats (KeyBank Club, Captain Morgan Club) and are priced extremely high for the average fan. Many local corporations and businesses will purchase these tickets for their employees and guests.

The Pittsburgh Penguins’ bench is located in front of section 101. The visiting hockey team’s bench is located in front of section 103. The penalty box at PPG Paints Arena is located in front of section 112. The Pittsburgh Penguins shoot twice on the net in front of section 107; this area is also called the double attack zone. The visiting hockey team shoots twice on the net in front of section 118.

Upper Level / Snapple Level
