We sat in Section 103, row 8, seats 9 and 10 for my first ever White Sox game. We had a great view of the field though I still had to consult with the three big screens to get an accurate count of the hits, balls and strikes.
The selection didn't vary too much but is good and I definitely love how they have Midwest beers available for purchase (Leinenkugel's). The beer selection seemed a lot better than other ballparks I have been to.
I liked U.S. Cellular Field itself since it seemed modern and stable - the seats didn't look like they were about to fall apart like another ballpark in Chicago that I shall not mention. Tailgating is permitted which you don't see often before baseball games. The neighborhood isn't much so I think that's why people tailgate.
To give you an idea what the view of the field is like from section 103, here is a Youtube video shot from there before a White Sox game at U.S. Cellular Field. This video will give you a good look at the actual seats.
I have been to U.S. Cellular Field twice. The first back in 2004. The second time I went was a game in late July of 2006 when the White Sox took on the Texas Rangers. The White Sox lost. I sat in right center field, section 103 to be exact. This section is right next to the Visitors Bullpen but was still good seat to view the game.
